We are now qualified to fly UAVs and have received permissions for commercial operations (PFCO) from the CAA. As such we are now licensed operators and conform to the regulations set out by the Civil Aviation Authority. All commercial pilots in the UK need to have passed the CAA approved flight assessments and exams to enable commercial operations to be undertaken.
To conform to the regulations we need to be insured (third party) and fly within VLOS (visual line of sight) and no higher than 400ft unless we have an exemption from the CAA. We have to undertake a site survey for each individual job to make sure it is viable and keep logs of each flight. Equipment has to be rigorously maintained. Safety is a top priority for us and full compliance with drone law ensures your aerial job is both legal and safe. We are always happy to discuss any requirements to ensure any flights go as smoothly as possible.
Drone Hire to include pilot and site survey (25% deposit required). Half Day Full Day
Money is tight these days so we try to be as flexible with our pricing for estate agency work as possible. We have put together a package that includes both aerial shots and interiors and exteriors. We are kitted out with DJI Phantom 4 Pro drones and a set up of Nikon DSLR's and all necessary lighting. We use Adobe Photoshop CC and are able to strip in skies if necessary. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. We do not charge a deposit for this work, preferring to work closely with our clients.
Prices start from £250.00
A formal quote will be produced for the client before any work is undertaken. Travel expenses are worked out and agreed to beforehand with the client and will be itemised.
A site survey must be produced before any aerial photography can be undertaken. A great deal of this can be done online, however it may be necessary to visit the site beforehand to do an on site survey. All surveys are subject to airspace classification, restrictions and other factors that may require specific permissions. The more information that can be made available to us the better the site survey will be. Obviously, if we encounter any major problems we will contact the client to discuss and try to resolve them as soon as possible.
If the job is cancelled by the client within 5 days of the scheduled date then the 25% deposit for commercial work will not be refundable.
We reserve the right to use any of the video or still images for our own PR, for use on our website or social media etc unless another arrangement has been agreed to beforehand. The client is allowed to use the images for whatever purposes they wish however they are not entitled to resell any of the material without prior consultation with us. As registered pilots we are bound by the Data Protection Act and take privacy very seriously.
Weather is a major problem with flying drones here in the UK. They cannot be flown in any precipitation or high winds. We watch the weather closely and will postpone the shoot if longterm conditions do not look favourable. If we can rearrange the shoot easily then this will be done at no extra cost. We do try to be as accommodating as possible. If however the photography cannot be rescheduled due to the nature of the job (a live event or such like) the deposit will not be refundable.
